Abel Sim - In Memoriam

He was the diminutive striker always waiting to pounce on loose balls.

To fire them past me with his clinical finishing.

So much so that every time he got the ball, I went 'f*** you Abel' over and over again.

Or waiting for my long throws, scuffling with defenders just to get to the ball.

His good-natured ribbing livened up the Cage on Sundays.

He was a fantastic student.

He had a bright future.

He passed away on Tuesday.

It was my privilege to have known you.

Rest in peace.
