Some updates...

I've procrastinated long enough, and now it's time to update my blog before I head off to CIRCLE '06....

Absolut U was a rocker, at least for us organizers. There sure was alot of interaction amongst the Welfare branch, and at least some conversation between the various arms of the committee. Met Joseph, my primary school junior and caught up with Jiancheng, my sec school junior. And yea, it was a lesson in coordination and events planning.

As usual, meals prepped by the ever-dependable Keith was fantastic. It read like a who's who of the catering industry.
Day 1: Subway for lunch, Pastamania for dinner.
Day 2: Killiney's nasi lemak for breakfast, Food Haven catering for both meals thereafter.
Day 3: Mac for breakfast...

Keith was sabo-ed in the Hair Station, and had his (rather sparse) hair fluffed up by a gigantic ball of mousse and a dollop of gel. More gel, more friends! Hahaha...

And the very next day at Sentosa's Palawan beach, Keith got dunked, not once, but thrice. Firstly was the customary dunk-thy-head ceremony. Next, Keith suggested getting hold of Nick for a dunk. Alas, his voice was a wee bit too loud, and ended up on the receiving end instead. Next up, Chongmin knew it was his turn, and played his part to perfection. He struggled violently against our half-hearted grabs, and right up to the shoreline, Keith had no idea that yet again, it would be him ending up in the water. Keith, you're our bestest buddy dude!

And my salute to the logs team, who worked their socks off as well. Kudos for an event well-done by the entire comm!

And Sunday saw me at Far East Shopping Centre, at Angel Bookstore with which I got acquainted with some time back. Like in '97. And so, I said hi to my dearest friends. It's time to get to know each other once again! And so, my haul consisted of Levitt's Freakanomics and Crichton's State of Fear, all for a manageable credit of $20.50 to my cash account.
