Those were the days...

With Ah Kong in hospital, I've realized that time is fast catching up with me... Young no more, I can only reminisce about the times of yore.

Remember playing these in primary school - no, they were never mine, but I was all the more happier with just having them to play for a few minutes each time.

The kids now have their PSPs and NDSLs, but my time of carefree innocence, the Henry Lees and Glenn Batchelors who gave me that much needed dose of confidence and the headstart in life, the unending maths assessments that had me laboring over are now things of the past.

I loved my primary school days. Though I am sorry I was such a pompous ass back then. Maybe bringing Melvin to the principal's cane was part of the thrill! Haha Mel. NOT!!!

St Gabriel's boys, here on this day united.
With one true heart, let us all sing and cheer!
The stately home, where our boyhood is guided,
Learning to live, and through right paths to steer.
In cheery blue, and spotless white apparel *LOL*
A cheerful band, St Gabriel's boys unite!

All white and blue, all bent to reap the laurels,
Hold and defend alma mater's glory with strength and might.

St Gabriel's school dear, here willing hearts behold,
When duty's call rings clear, mid-sorrows as through joy.
For Singapore and God, for justice to uphold,
Let us live and hold dear, St Gabriel's boys!
